Alex, Grade 7 at TKIS, swam really well at Pacific District Swimming (Boys – 12 Years Old)
on Wednesday, 17th February. He came away with:

• 1st: 50m Freestyle
• 1st: 50m Breaststroke
• 2nd: 100m Freestyle
• 1st: 100m Breaststroke
• 7th: 50m Fly

“He should qualify for Regionals in the 50m Free, 50m Breast & 100m Free but we’ll have to
wait and see about the 100m Breast because, even though he won it, he was just outside of
the qualifying time,” said Shelly, Alex’s proud mum.
