The Task of “Recreating a Classic Artwork” was given to the Grade 7-10 Art students as one of their hybrid online school projects. During the recent Covid restrictions, the Getty Museum in California, put out a challenge asking people to recreate their favourite artwork using just found objects from their homes. It became a very popular stay-at-home activity for people all around the world, and many people, young and old, had fun recreating their favourite classic artwork.

Please enjoy some of the young talent from Kooralbyn School as they also got to recreate a classic artwork. The students came up with very creative solutions using just what they could find in their home environment, such as people, animals and random found objects. Thanks to all those pets, siblings, mums and dads who posed for the photos also!
